Equipment such as chillers for managing food safety often comes with a high cost of installation. Once installed they then need to be monitored to make sure environmental conditions are met to maintain quality and condition of stored food.

The Challenge. 

Reduce the cost of installation on Roof Top Packaged Units without sacrificing quality of monitoring over the systems lifetime.

The Solution. 

Saving during installation are realized with the EconomizerPro sensor platform and its use of wireless sensors, wireless controllers and wireless gateways - reducing installation time running wires and having to put conduit in place.

To ensure quality monitoring once operational, all Controllers were pre-associated with the Wireless access point. The Wireless access point was built into a NEMA box along with a watchdog timer and other electronics. All batteries were installed into the units. The cloud management portal preconfigured with equipment MAC IDs and the MongoDB was prepared.
